West wing, (west section of the Coach House - takes up largest part of original building) sleeps 6 (+2)

We have renovated the Coach House Holiday Cottages in Dumfries and Galloway with great care to use eco friendly ethical methods, we have integrated underfloor heating using air source heat pump, we have also installed a modest wind turbine farther away to generate our own electricity. The west wing makes most use out of the old building and we have glazed the arched doorway where the coach would have been parked and made it the view from the new living room. It really is a cosy living area with a Clearview woodburner. Adjacent is the kitchen and dining area for 6 (+2). We have looked at integrating sleeping rooms that can be changed depending on your needs, we have a sliding wall that cleverly separates a large bedroom into two smaller bedrooms.

Downstairs:-
Small entrance hallway, with door to open-plan kitchen/sitting room with woodburner.
Glass door in original front archway - great views.
Sitting area seats 6 comfortably. Dining table seats 6 (+2 at a push).
Shower room.
Stairs in kitchen area.
Upstairs:-

Bathroom
Bedroom 1 - double room with small en suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 - twin room.
Bedroom 3 - bunk room (3ft beds, fine for adults).

There is a sliding partition between the twin room and bunk room. This allows two extra guest beds (comfortable mattresses 2’6’’ wide) to be set up. This takes up most of the twin room but extra floor space is added by incorporating the bunk room. These two combined rooms then become suitable for 6 young people or adults who don’t mind limited space.

The accommodation is superb, designed by renowned designer Sam Booth it makes a fantastic holiday destination, this building has been created for holidays, it is a purpose designed holiday building with lots of really interesting features to make your holiday special.
